Lupe and Jose Romero are a married couple who enjoy cooking for their friends and family. Taquizas Romero began in 2021 as they were barbecuing and making tacos for a birthday party. After catering for the same family, they were asked when they were going to start their own catering business. Business cards were made, and their business took off.

Jose's passion is barbecuing. He enjoys blending his own spices and creating his own marinades. His love of tacos began after several trips to Mexico and enjoying the various taco trucks the SF Bay Area has to offer. He incorporates his seasonings and marinades into the meats that he uses for his tacos.

Lupe's passion is cooking, which she inherited from her mother. She says the greatest inheritance her mother left was her recipes and her love of cooking for friends and family. Lupe has used that same passion and influence in the dishes she makes and learned her mother's greatest secrets and techniques. ¡La Mejor Herencia!
